A loving father and husband, David Everitt, engages in efforts that empower parents to keep their children safe in an era of omnipresent technology. As head of the Phoenix, Arizona, company GameSafe, Inc., David Everitt delivers app-based solutions that help prevent the exploitation of children when they game online. The GameSafe platform provides parents with real-time notifications when harassment, sexting, or bullying occurs. Mr. Everitt developed the concept of active parental monitoring of children’s gaming after his experience as a Minecraft player who wanted to protect his kids. The company’s key technology builds on his experience as a certified Amazon Web Services (AWS) architect, providing software solutions to clients such as Agilysys, T-Mobile, and Aerojet-Rocketdyne. David Everitt combines technical leadership and personal commitment to provide impetus in introducing GameSafe to families worldwide. A computer science graduate of the University of Washington, Mr. Everitt received a NASA Space Grant as an undergraduate. Reflecting his accomplishments in mobile application development, David Everitt holds a published US patent covering the core GameSafe technologies.
